Support Groups

There is currently one continence-specific support group in operation in the metropolitan area. These groups offer support and encouragement to people who may be experiencing bladder and or bowel problems. There are several other related support groups that are not just specific to people with continence issues.

Armadale Continence Self Help Group

This group meets on the first Thursday of every second month at 1pm in the Carl Streich Rehabilitation Unit at Armadale Health Service. The group is open to all interested people and they have guest speakers and open discussions. The first group for 2012 will be in February.

This group meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 12.30pm - 3.00pm at Greenfields Family & Community Centre, Corner Waldron Boulevard & Murdoch Dr, Mandurah.

This group meets on the first Thursday of every month from 1pm- 3pm at the Anne Reid Room, Garden City, lobby of the Melville Civic Square Library. Car park entry via Davey Street, Booragoon.
